Let's talk villains

Y'all know how I feel about Loki. So it should come as no surprise that I'm also a fan of other movie villains. I recently wrote about some of my other favorites for the Alamo Drafthouse* magazine Birth.Movies.Death.

My articles on Magneto, Regina George, General Zod and Ursula are on pages 22, 28, 29 and 32, respectively. But you should definitely check out the rest of the issue, too!

In May, Badass Digest will be running a villain death match with all 64 of the villains in the issue. Be sure to check it out!

*If you're not familiar with the Alamo Drafthouse, it's the. best. movie theater. Most locations are in Texas, but there are others around the country, and I'm sure there are plans for even more expansion. Definitely check it out for a great movie-going experience if you can! (And pick up the May issue of B.M.D. while you're there!)

  2. Awesome on the publishing - congrats! I don't remember Ursula scaring me as a kid, but she scares the heck out of my three year old little. We always have to turn it off when she gets all giant and comes out of the ocean! Ironically, she finds that terrifying but loves every minute of The Nightmare Before Christmas. Go figure.

  3. CONGRATS LADY!!! I am also a villain fan. Bellatrix (Harry Potter), Tom Riddle (Harry Potter), Loki (of course), Maleficent, Ursula (The Little Mermaid) and so on. I also - gasp - like a lot of Capitol characters from The Hunger Games!

  6. Thank you! And I don't blame your little one. Although the characters of Nightmare Before Christmas are creepy, at least they're somewhat sweet at times?
