DIY-deas: Bike chandelier, dinosaur servingware and customized paint-by-numbers

The Internet needs to stop coming up with awesome ideas for DIYs—I have very little spare time to devote to playing right now! I have, however, made the time to find some great ideas.

Black Oak Vintage | Bike Wheel Chandelier

I guess it comes with the territory, but we have a lot of random bike parts just taking up space in our storage unit. I'm sure the Mister wouldn't mind if we started using a few parts here and there in our decor. I really love the industrial bulb cages, too.

DIY Dinosaur Serving Dish | Three Little Monkeys Studio

This is AMAZING. I want to create a whole set of these with a variety of trays. I'd love to see a snack table all done up in not-so-obvious dinosaurs.

Dinosaur Corn Cob Holders | Instructables

Of course, to go along with my dinosaur serving plates, I need some of these so that my guests can  easily eat their corn-on-the-cob and have fun while doing so. Dollar store dinos—who knew?!

Paint-by-Number Project | File Me Away

An oldie, but a goodie, Megan's paint-by-number customization is such a cool way to turn old and waiting to be loved paint-by-number canvases into updated art. And who doesn't love to do paint-by-numbers?

What about you, friends? Have you found any awesome DIY ideas lately?

  1. I love all of these. especially the Dinos. :)

  2. oh my dinosaur dish! i need that in my life!

  3. Oh. My. Gosh. That dinosaur dish is all kinds of perfect. Must have!!

  4. Dinosaur corn holders!?! And serving dish!? I'm in love.

  5. Right? I love how many ideas people have come up with for cheap animal figurines. I've seen awesome magnets and plant holders, too.

  6. Yes! And it looks so simple to make.

  7. I think everyone does. :)

  8. You should definitely make use of all the extra bike parts lying around. I have so many dinosaur DIYs pinned, I try to tell myself it's because I have a 2 year boy who loves them, but really, who am I kidding?! ;)

  9. I don't even have an excuse of having children! ;) But I think you can tell from the other comments on this post that we're in good company with loving dinosaurs.
