Guys. Don't tell Mollie ... but I love French Bulldogs. Like, a whole lot. They're a terrific combination of Bulldogs and Boston Terriers. (Both of which I also love.) I mean, really. Look at these faces. Look at these ears. Look at these solid little bodies.
I ... I just can't. They're too cute.
And this week, from the Mister:
When two childhood friends discovered a mutual love of mashups, they joined together to form The White Panda, one of Colt's favorite musical groups. (I'm sure there's a better word for two DJs who create mashups than "group," but I'm not sure what it is.) The duo released their fifth full-length album—Bearly Legal—yesterday. Take a listen below, and if you like what you hear, you can download the entire thing via the White Panda Facebook page. (You can also listen to it online here if the player below doesn't work.)
Now, I love me some mashups, and these guys have some serious talent. I've listened to the entire thing and it's awesome. I particularly love "Wide Deliveries," which mashes Katy Perry, Maroon 5 and Bubba Sparxxx and "Diamond Thrones," which mixes Rihanna with the Game of Thrones theme.
And from TGG:
Felicia Day and her brother Ryon played PC games growing up because they didn't have any consoles, so they missed out on a lot of what adult gamers (Wes included) consider "classic gaming" from the NES, SNES and Sega Genesis era. Watching Felicia tackle some of these games for the first time as an adult and without the fog of nostalgia was Wes's favorite recurring bit from her Flog series, and the bits were always better when her brother joined her. The siblings have recently turned the bit into a slightly longer-form stand-alone series. The show is awesome, according to Wes, due to the "combination of understanding exactly the rage that these games can cause and watching siblings troll each other while playing." Here's the latest episode:
(Wes warns that the series is rife with censored swearing and probably no small amount of slightly off-color humor, so it might be NSFW.)
