Last Friday, I pushed myself out of my comfort zone yet again (yay 30 before 30 progress!) and met up with a couple of new book club friends at a party counting down the end of the Veronica Mars movie Kickstarter. Rob Thomas (the creator of the show) lives in town, and put out a call for backers to meet up at a local pub to celebrate the end of the record-breaking funding period. In the end, the project did quite well:
I'm proud to be one of the nearly 92,000 people that backed the movie and am really looking forward to seeing it in theaters.
Hundreds of people showed up to the event, so it wasn't until nearly the end that we made it into the actual area in which all the action was taking place. We had no idea that
