Monscellany: A message, a question and #photoadayoct

Happy Monday, y'all.

Monday mornings are often hard, so I wanted to share a sweet message I found the other day.

I hope your day turns out as lovely as you are!

Yesterday I got a new (temporary) phone as part of a beta-testing-ish opportunity I will post about later. The phone's a Samsung Galaxy S3:

... and I know nothing about Androids.

Are any of you 'droid users? Are there any apps that I absolutely cannot live without? Any advice is appreciated!

  1. Ken has a Galaxy and he LOVES it, but really, he just plays Angry Birds and surfs the web/uses the directions tools. Oh, and he uses Waze for traffic detail. I really like the phone, though, and I'm contemplating moving to it from my iPhone. Not that that helps you any. ha.

    1. Haha, thanks. It's been fun so far, but I'll likely switch back once this is over.

  2. Hmm, I'm an Android user (who is very soon switching to Apple), and the only thing I can see you absolutely needing is the Google Play Store app, and you can set that up with your Gmail account. Everything else that you can use on an apple device has an android version or something suitably similar.(that I've found anyway. I'm not a huge app user though)

I contemplated getting the S3 a few weeks ago, but it was too large for my baby hands! I ended up ordering the iPhone 5, lolz, I'm wondering if I'll regret the switch. Good luck with the testing!

    1. It is really large. I have difficulty using it with one hand, and although that sounds silly, it's probably one of the main reasons I'll switch back.

The Google Play store has been great, thanks!
