obsessed.: SpellTower

I go through phases with iOS games—those that are fun at first soon lose their luster. (I'm a fickle gamer; what I can I say?)

I recently found a game, however, that I believe will stand the test of time—SpellTower—and I am obsessed.

The game is simple—find words in a jumble of letters. It's nothing new, but the beauty lies in the, well, beauty. The colors and design of the app keep me coming back for more. (The SpellTower website is gorgeously designed, too.)

The official description goes a little something like:
Looking for a word game that goes beyond a simple Scrabble/Boggle/Jumble clone? SpellTower is for you.

Find and swipe (or tap!) words in 5 challenging modes. Make long words or use bonus tiles to clear extra letters from the screen!

Once you have it down, challenge your friends via intense local multiplayer on iOS.

Peep these pretty screenshots:

I got the game when it was a free download via Starbucks, but at only $1.99, it's still totally worth it. Let me know if you get it and want to play! I promise to try and be a better partner-player than I have been in the past *cough*Draw Something*cough*Words With Friends*cough*

  1. I picked up the card for this at Starbucks as well. May have to actually start playing it now!

    Thanks for the rec, lady.
