Nerd News: Community gag reel, #DirtyLaundry, Marvel announcements and more

Vol. 3, Issue 29

Hello friends. There's been a whole lot of news in the past week or so, thanks to Comic Con, so this is going to be a link and video-heavy post.

(Also, The Mary Sue just finished up with a series of Comic Con wrap-ups, which you can read here if you're interested in more in-depth coverage: 1, 2, 3 and 4.)

Before we get started with the news, however, in honor of this week's big movie, here's a video of a bunch of Batmans.

This Y: The Last Man fan film shows the comic's serious adaptation potential.

And finally, I love Katie Cook's art so much. These are some of her commissions from SDCC.

  1. That was an exhaustive read. Damn these cons for creating so much news!

Those steampunk Spider-Man pieces are pretty awesome. I love the Venom one the most.

Someone needs to get on making this Y: The Last Man movie or trilogy or whatever it's going to be. I'm tired of waiting.

    1. Agree on all accounts. (But that's not surprising.)

  2. SO excited for The Great and Powerful Oz, even though I hate James Franco. It looks amazing. Plus, anything Oz I love. Ha ha.
