obsessed.: Archer

For months, it seems, our friends have been telling Colt and I that we'd like the Archer. We'd watched an episode at one point, but it didn't really hold our interest. We gave in recently however, due to a severe lack of new shows on TV and mounting pressure from more than one front. (*cough*Hamptons and Mark*cough*) What can I say—we give in easy when the peers who are pressuring are known to have good taste.

We didn't love it immediately. We kept watching, however, and before we knew it, we were obsessed. We've just started in on season 3, and I can't wait to see what season 4 brings.

Yes, it is truly inappropriate at times, but so is my sense of humor. Case in point: I couldn't stop laughing during the episode the video below is taken from. (We had to watch it twice because Colt fell asleep the first time; I laughed through the entire second viewing, too. I'm laughing now just thinking of it!)

And it's funny; I don't think the show would work as a live-action. Something about it being a cartoon just makes it all that much better.

  1. I'm so excited that you guys will get all of our Archer references now. If you decide at some point to sit down and watch It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia you'll be able to understand pretty much any reference we throw out because 95% of them are from these two shows.

  4. We LOVE this show!! Totally inappropriate, but totally hilarious. I don't think a day goes by in our house without a, "Yuuuup". And you are definitely correct, it would not work as a live action show. :)
