Renter's Delight: Patio furniture

Since we moved into the Murtis 2.0 in October, we didn't really worry about patio furniture because we knew it was going to get cool pretty quickly. Now that it's warming up—a little too quickly for my tastes, unfortunately—it's time to think about some furniture that takes advantage of our breezy corner patio/balcony.

We don't really want to spend too much on a set, since I don't know how much use it'll get in the dead of summer. But it would be nice to have something to sit on and set a drink on on those morning and nights where it cools down enough to be comfortable.

I did a little browser shopping and found a few pieces that called to me. Some are most definitely out of our price range, but it never hurts to look!

    1. Right? I think the combo of grey and yellow is what got me about that set.

  4. There is a consignment/furniture shop right by us off of 183 and 1431 that has a lot of colorful chair sets like the blue and white one.

Our patio furniture got destroyed when we dog-sat our neighbors dog and he decided to chew everything (especially the cushions). We are now waiting for new stuff until we move.

I'm a fan of the first set. :)

    1. Darn that dog! And thanks for the tip about the blue and white set; Colt's not a huge fan of that style, so we probably won't go that route, but it's good to know. :)

  5. Love the first set and the retro looking ones! I really would love to spruce up our balcony, but alas, we have no more room inside and it has become our secondary storage area. :(

    1. That's always an issue, although we've yet to reach our maximum storage capacity elsewhere. I'm sure it's only a matter of time ...
