Renters Delight: Chalkboard dreams


I've long wanted to paint pretty much everything in sight with chalkboard paint. I love the matte black finish, the ease of changing whatever's on there ... even the dusty haze that covers the boards after a while.

I ran across this idea on Pinterest a while back and thought to myself, "well, hey, that's a great idea." I've got a couple of empty frames that would look great surrounding a chalkboard.

But then comes the hard part ... What to write/draw on the chalkboard? Again, Pinterest to the rescue. There's loads of gorgeous "chalk" art on the site.


The one above would look great with our whale+ocean collection.
