What stunning reimaginations of some classic X-Men ladies.

In TV news:
Haha. I love this.

I'd like one of these at my next birthday, thanks.

What would happen if the iPhone 4S' Siri was replaced with GLaDOS?

This poor dog!

And yet ...

I have not had time to watch this Star Wars fan trilogy, but I feel like I'd be remiss in not posting it here. I will eventually get around to viewing it ... in the meantime, let me know if you like it?

Felicia Day gets into the nerdy webseries action yet again with a role in Dragon Age: Redemption. Here's the first episode:

I finally got around to watching all of The Guild and I really enjoyed it. Definitely cemented my nerd girl crush on Ms. Day.

SCIENCE!
These prints are super cute. (Thanks, Martha!)

This is a really gorgeous video. I love Maroon 5's version of this song.

These aren't your typical Disney Princesses, but I think they pull it off well, no?

(via)

H. P. Lovecraft's The Call of Cthulhu has been on my to-read list for ages. Perhaps I can read this instead?

Definitely click through to read the pages the artist's completed. Good stuff.

And finally, it's amazing how much better the keytar makes everything.

  1. OKAY. Can I just say that it has ALWAYS annoyed me how Louis Lane can't recognize SuperMan just because he has Glasses on. C'mon now, Louis has to be a little smarter then that right? It has actually bugged me so much that I have liked the whole Superman franchise less because of it. lol!

  2. OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH, I hadn't even HEARD of The Raven - that looks soooooooo good. I could be wrong, but... I'm thinking I'll have to find out opening day. ;)

  3. So... The Raven is a rip-off of the Castle series premiere? And I love John Cusack, but I worry about him doing a period piece. Even a fantastical hyped up piece with him as a fictional version of a real person.

I also have to admit I wasn't really all that excited about the Avengers until I watched this trailer. I saw a tweet that said it best, "The most exciting thing about Joss Whedon's The Avengers is it can't be canceled half-way through."

And lastly I'm glad you liked The Guild after all of my nagging. I would have felt really bad if you had hated it.

  4. Kai-Thank you! I appreciate that I'm not the only one.

    Zoë-Yeah, it looks very cool.

Wes-I should have thanked you in the post, forgive my error. :)

  5. I haven't watched the Guild, but I have read the comics. I'd watch the Dragon Age video but I feel like I need to get caught up on the Legend of Neil first.

And like you Call of Chthulhu is on my to read list. I've actually gone so far as to put it in my Kindle even.
