Nerd News: Stitch Wars, Tim Burton posters, Underworld Awakening and more

Vol. 2, Issue 33

Lots of SCIENCE! this week, so I thought we'd start there. Spice things up a little.
This video gives me the giggles. Etna's totally just showing off. (Third thanks, Colt!)

In TV news:

I love me some FDR. Particularly when he's become some sort of awesome mechanized warrior bot.

Beautiful posters.

These posters would make awesome book covers. Or, you know, posters.

(via)

I am always interested in superhero "redesigns." These Wonder Women are lovely.

(via)

And I totally want to read about this one—DC, take note.

In movie news:
Some trailers:

Underworld Awakening

Wasn't Selene supposed to have a daughter in this one?

Immortals

In Time

What a great use of atypical materials.

(via)

I have to admit, people who don't like Tim Burton movies sadden me.

(via)

Love these posters, side-by-side.

(via)

The rest of Al Pennyworth's art is awesome too.

Here's a new trailer for Mass Effect 3 (A fourth thanks to Colt, and that's all you get this time!)

So many ideas from this year's Bear and Bird Gallery Stitch Wars: Strikes Back. Aren't these amazing?

I like that this artist worked with lesser-known characters.

And finally, the Don't Blink Cat, which I found via Zoë's Pinterest.

Rebecca-Right? I am excited. Spike was always one of my favorites. And I didn't intentionally burn Ben, haha.

  8. I liked Alice, Sleepy Hollow, and Nightmare Before Christmas. Ed Wood and Edward Scissorhands - not that much. (Haven't seen the others.) Oh, and I also do not really get Dr Who (I know, sorry!!!), but that cat video had me in stitches. Am excited about the new Underworld but completely anti-Bridget-Jones-3 - and hoping all of these conflicting messages will still leave me in your good books? Have a great weekend. :o)

  12. The thought of Christina Hendricks as Wonder Woman made one of my chakras explode. Dear lord. But I'm really glad that WW has been getting so much attention lately. I think it says something.
