Haiku Revieu: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2

(I hope you'll excuse my posting two Haiku Revieus this week. I thought it would be fitting to post this, seeing as it's HP week, and me and mine have two other midnights scheduled this month—expect to be seeing an HR next week as well as the week after—so I was going to have to double up eventually.)

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 (**** 1/2. -1/2 for it being the end of the series. *huff*)

Neville is the man
I will miss you, HRH
Very bittersweet

What can I say, really? It was a wonderful, moving movie. I laughed, I cried, I cheered. I am not nearly as broken up today as I was after Part 1—I'll forever be heartsick over Dobby's death—but I'm not fully satisfied either. It's a little hard to believe that it's all over ... even though it's not, not really. I can revisit the world whenever I want to, through the books and the movies. Harry lives, certainly. And that makes me glad.

I was inspired to create this after watching the movie. Neville's bravery, throughout the series, always makes me smile.

(Edit: Fixed the speech.)

Feel free to use, if you'd like.

P.S.–Hells yes, Molly Weasley.

  1. when i got home and was getting ready for bed around 3am i wondered to myself.... is it to early for a haiku? glad you doubled up.

    neville is totally the man!

  2. I agree, it's definitely NOT the end! Plus, there will always be geek girls like me, role-playing a Harry Potter character or writing a fanfiction or SOMETHING!!!

    Also? Neville got hott. :P

  3. Neville TOTALLY stole the movie. Well, him and Molly. ;)

  4. Rebecca-That means a lot. :D

Angie-Yes! We can make it live on.

    Jen-Agreed. They are awesomesauce.

  5. It was REALLY good, aside from the snapping of the wand. I didn't like the ending AT ALL. The books will always be the best....
    :( I'm sad it's all over.

  6. Me too Liz, me too. *hug*
