Nerd News: Captain America, Hardcore History, Torchwood and more

Vol. 2, Issue 12

Sorry for the late issue, today was full of long meetings and other busyness.

Did you see this last night?

Although I think this trailer is really great, Chris Evans' head on that skinny body is creepier than Red Skull. Just sayin'.

In other movie news:
And a new trailer for Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. Now with more mermaids!

These Historically Hardcore posters are so excellent.

As are these Star Wars PSAs.

And these fan-made X-Men: First Class posters.

In science news:
This guy really is in EVERYTHING.

And because I know everyone's curious: His name is Jesse Heiman. (Totally excellent icebreaker or party trivia, me thinks.)

Hahahaha.

In TV news:
Have you seen any of these 10 hilariously bad scifi television specials?

This shirt is awesome.

When we have kids, and if they are boys, I am totally getting this for our bathroom wall.

And finally, I leave you today with a mashup that shouldn't work, but, surprisingly, really does.

  4. Ah, yes! Arnold is back! I'd rather see him and Paul Verhoeven pick up Crusades again. It would be an epic for the ages! I must have that "Stay on target" sign in my bathroom! Thanks for a another installment of nerd news! :)
