Will you be mine?

I've never been really big on celebrating this "holiday," but I do so enjoy making valentines to give to friends and family. (And celebrating loving and being loved!) The robot in the above picture is a little chipboard guy that I added glitter to. Turned out really cute, and it's a fun way to say "hey, I care!" If I could have made one to send to each of you, I would have. Alas, time and distance keeps us apart. I hope you'll accept this bit of virtual love instead.

I've collected a few links to Valentines around the web that I wanted to share with you. (If there are more Valentines on the sites than I've included here in this post, I will indicate that with an *.)

For the Star Wars fans in your life:

For those whose love is that of legend:*

For those who love the pretty and prep, from Kate Spade:*

For those obsessed with type, collected by ReadyMade:*

For the kids, or kids at heart:

Looking to create some chemistry? Try these science-themed valentines: (Thanks, Rachel!)

For your Simpsons and Doctor Who fans:

For those who like their Doctor on the more realistic side:*

And finally, some lovelies from artist Samantha Hahn:*

I hope you have a wonderful day, regardless of relationship status. I know that each and every one of you are loved, in so many ways, and every day, rather than just this one.

  3. These are adorable. I wish I had nerdy girlfriends who would appreciate this!

Scott always prints out Lisa's Valentine from Ralph, "I Choo-Choo-Choose You". Cheesy but I look forward to it every year.
