Nerd News: Anger management, Christmas cards, Paul and more

Vol. 2, Issue 1

Welcome to the second volume of Nerd News! I bet you were all wondering when it would change, right? Of course. (Totally arbitrary numbering FTW!)

2011's shaping up to be pretty nerdy, which is great by me. In fact, check out this list of 55 scifi/fantasy movies to check out this year. I'm most excited about The Adjustment Bureau, Paul, Thor, Priest, Pirates 4, X-Men: First Class, The Green Lantern, Transformers 3, Harry Potter, Captain America, Cowboys and Aliens, Now, Sherlock Holmes 2 ... you know, I'd pretty much see any of them willingly. It's obviously going to be a busy year.

Speaking of, this trailer for Paul makes me smile.

It's so great that it comes out on Valentines Day, too. Date night!

In other movie news:
Our Christmas cards weren't over-the-top nerdy/strange, but these are. My fav?

Of course.

I want this Picard Amigurumi. And the Firefly cast in her gallery. And the Dune items ... I could make them of course, but there aren't 48 hours in each day, unfortunately.

I heart these dinosaur superheroes, in part because they remind me a bit of the mini-series Dinotopia, which I have a total soft spot for.

In TV news: SyFy's bringing a new superhero show to your sets.

Love these superhero-inspired outfits, too.
    Holy awesome.

Olly Moss is an amazing artist. I have his Now Panic and Freak Out shirt from Threadless, but his movie posters are where it's at.

Hermione is my kind of girl.

And finally, I leave you today with a little bit of advice on how to deal with anger.
