Haiku Revieu: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1 (*****)

The best movie yet
I 'll so miss it when it's done
Won-Won got some guns

Talking about the movie wouldn't really be spoilery, since the book's been out for a few years now, but I don't want to spoil the fun of seeing it with your own eyes.

I laughed, I cried—hard—and I grew bittersweet at the idea of this series coming to an end. Although I was older than the prescribed reading age for these books when the first one came out, I feel like I've grown up with the characters. If they were real people, they'd be just a couple of years older than me.

Go see it. And enjoy.

  1. Agreed, on all points. My eyes are still a bit puffy.

  4. I hope he finds time soon! Colt and I really enjoy going to the midnight premieres, even if we do shamble around like zombies at work the day after. :)

  5. Reading this just brought a tear to my eye. I agree with everything too. My eyes are totally puffy, I cried like a baby. I don't know if I can handle seeing the last one for many reasons... though I know I'll be sitting in the theater at midnight, just like all my fellow Harry Potter fans. :) I cannot believe it's almost over...

On a lighter note, I LOVE reading your blog! It makes me incredibly happy! I know I rarely comment, but know that you're making this girl smile every time! <3
