Haiku Revieu: Catfish

Catfish (**)

At times amusing
Was not what I expected
More pity, less scare

Colt and I went to a neat theater across from the hotel where we stayed in Portland on our last night in the city. The theater was vaguely Alamo-esque; it had comfier seats—love seats that could be divided by a moveable arm—but not as many food options and none of the typical Alamo employees. (You know what I mean.) The options on what to see were somewhat limited, it being a smaller "art house" theater, but I'd been interested in Catfish for a while. We went in not knowing anything ... and left a bit disappointed. I don't want to spoil anything for those who haven't seen it, but if you have and want to discuss, we can in the comments.

  1. I haven't seen this, but Vicki and Josh actually said the same thing as your review did - that they left disappointed and sort of underwhelmed.

  2. Good to know we weren't the only ones!

  3. That's such a bummer you left disappointed =-(

  4. Hi Krysten, and yeah, it was. I guess I just got my hopes up too much? :)
