Introducing: Premiere Week

My name is Mandy, and I'm a huge TV addict. Do I need help? Probably. Do I want it? No.

A disclaimer: I know that watching a lot of TV "isn't good for you". I know that getting up and out is beneficial to your health, both mentally and physically. However, I prefer getting lost in my imagination to getting lost in some forest. That's just me. It's not that outdoorsy activities aren't fun, of course, but I am a proud couch potato. (I read a whole lot, too.)

I grew up watching quite a bit of TV, and in no way do I feel like it's hindered me. I am an intelligent person, I have semi-decent social skills, I am not a total sloth, I am somewhat fit. (Although I do need to work at it, and keep at it, but who doesn't? I'm not getting any younger.) I don't sit in front of the TV for hours upon hours doing nothing else; I do laundry, I craft, I clean. I like the background commotion.

That said, if TV isn't your bag, that's fine. I love pop culture, in all it's forms, and this is my blog, so I'm going to celebrate that.

This week is one of the most jam-packed, action-filled weeks of the year. Am I talking about fashion week? No, silly, that was last week. I'm talking about Premiere Week. The week during which most network TV shows start back up for the season.

Each day this week I'm going to do a post on my favorite shows that will be premiering each night, with a little info on each (in case you don't already watch). I'll also be posting which new shows I'll be checking out this year.

Check back later today for Monday's lineup.
