obsessed.: Veronica Mars

I just can't get enough of this sassy blonde teenage detective. The drams totally have me obsessed.

Veronica Mars is an American television series created by Rob Thomas. (Ed. note: Not that Rob Thomas.) The series premiered on Sept. 22, 2004 and ended on May 22, 2007.

The series is set in the fictional town of Neptune, California, and stars Kristen Bell as the title character, a student who progresses from high school to college while moonlighting as a private investigator under the tutelage of her detective father. In each episode, Veronica solves a different stand-alone case while working to solve a more complex mystery. The first two seasons of the series each had a season-long mystery arc, introduced in the first episode of the season and solved in the season finale. The third season took a different format, focusing on smaller mystery arcs that would last the course of several episodes.
Right now, I'm a little more than halfway through the second season. I'm keeping myself away from looking up what happens in the rest of the series, trying instead to just enjoy it as it goes along. Veronica Mars is most assuredly someone I would have loved to hang out with during my high school years.

Oh, and I'm definitely Team Logan (when choosing who I think Veronica should be with). He can be totally douchy at times (most times?), but I get the hopeless romantic butterflies when I see them together.

  1. M-I am a Veronica Mars superFAN! Love, love LOVE this show. Are you watching it on DVD? You have to make sure you get the extra stuff that is with Season 3 and watch it.

I am also team Logan and concur completely with you on this! I also have some trivia that is office related to share with you about this show, so I will come down and chat!

  2. I'm actually watching it via Netflix, so I'm not sure if I'll get the extras. But I put them on my wishlist right after starting to watch the series, so hopefully I will have them eventually. :)

  3. Kristen Bell is hot. End. Seriously, that's all I got.

  4. LOVE. I'm halfway through the first season and I'm already sad that it ends after the third.

  5. Right, Jen? Totally sad. Martha gave me the 411 on an unaired video that comes after the fourth season. Once I finish with the seasons I'll look for it, and of course send it your way.
